So 7 days until the show and we have sold out two shows--- and actually we havent sold out, because I got the last 5 tickets today so that I can sell them. So I only have 5 tickets left. They are for Saturday, October 21, 2006 (one week from tomorrow) at 7:00 P.M. $6. The show is about an hour and a half- you should be out by 8:30. quick update. so i was really bored last night, and decided i would look through a lot of my past journal entries... and i stmbled upon my NCSA entries... and I realized, how much i miss that place and those people. I also looked through, well, most of my entries, and realized how much i miss some things back then. before college crap and other things that have seem to put me here, i looked at the entries when i was just starting Charlotte Children's Theatre. That's so weird to me. That I honestly have not been at CTC for very long AT ALL. It was just... like... Wow.
I miss some of the friendships that I used to have, and dont anymore. I miss some people who were close to me and arent anymore- by one reason or another. I miss my friends from NCSA of whom I only knew for 5 weeks. and yet, here I am more than a year later- and I still miss those crazy parties.. and random times during that experience. Its cool- when I read them, its like its happening, and Im there again- and then I look around me and realize... I'm not. But I still miss those olden days. And yet- I dont. While reading them I also realized that I was wrong about things- senior year and other things of that nature- and it was like... yeah I dont miss it that much. I guess as they say Hindsight is 20/20. And of course, its cool to see how I felt about certain things- like 2 years ago- and how I feel about them now. Its kind of funny. I suggest if you ever get bored and have nothing to do, go look at your old journal entries and have fun. O well. Thought I'd share. All those interested in Hickory Grove Baptist Christian School (my school)'s production of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream the dates have been changed.

Tickets go on sale in two weeks. Buy them soon, they WILL sell out quickly (its an extra credit grade for all of our english teachers...O_o ) Thanks, Student Director and Character "Puck" Kaylee Johnson Umm..
I am a drama nerd and am DARN proud of it. You cant change that so - Na na na na na na! Hmph! Yours truley, Her Highness the Drama Queen , Kaylee school drama:
(A Midsummer Night's Dream) I am the student director. and.... I GOT PUCK!!! Yay!! I'm happy. Puck is by far my favorite character in pretty much ALL of Shakespeare's plays. and now I get to be him... it... her... PUCK! The show is October 19-20 @ 7:00PM-- Tickets probably $5 (not sure yet). At Hickory Grove Baptist Christian School. I'm so EXCTITED. thats about it right now. I hate school.
kinda. Considering I hate only two of my classes this year. I feel pretty good about it. And that I will end the year with 5 more credits than I needed to graduate anyway. I start classes at Comedy Theater tomorrow. I'm kind of nervous. I've never been anywhere other than my school/church and CTC. <3 (not that anyone reads these nowadays-- what with myspace and all-- not that i update that either)
umm... school has officially started. (as of last tuesday) I am officially a senior and even more officially done with high school. no seiously it (being highschool) should DIE! but i am kinda happy about something at school-- and thats the fact the this year SHOULD be the best year for the drama/choir program (not only because im in it, but also because im in it) lol no. but because drama is having 5 productions (a first in HGBCS - my school- HISTORY). First is either "A Midsummer's Night Dream" or "Comedy of Errors". Second is a Christmas program. Third is a Talent Show that I missed last year because of "Joseph.....". Then were FINALLY having a musical- either "On Broadway", "The King And I", or "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown". My vote is the last one. And then lastly a senior showcase-- and seeing as though there are only 8 seniors in both choir and drama programs... I should be doing something. I miss all of my friends. I feel like I havent seen any of them in forever. And CTC and CCT, need to start like... NOW. I am losing my mind not being at CTC and I am really excited about CCT. (thats a lot of C's and T's) <3K Kevin's Improv Show was AMAZING!
Being with Carmen and Kylie for most of the night was AMAZING! Seeing Jessica and Maclean for pretty much the first time since March was AMAZING! Savannah's sharing was AMAZING!!! Seeing Jen Band is ALWAYS amazing! Kylie getting hit on by the guy at Chili's was funny. Kyle getting lost and going 30 mins away was kinda sad. But finally getting a hold of him after trying since May was GREAT!!! In short, yesterday ... was AMAZING!!!!!!!! Did I use Amazing enough? |
